Max Adler

Max Adler (he/him) is a USA Amateur Boxer, Coach, and Personal Trainer with over decade of experience. Max has worked at various Boxing Gyms in NYC including Church Street Boxing & Everybody Fights, and has trained under champions at Legendary gyms such as Gleason's and Mendez Boxing. After years of competing in the female division, Max transitioned and re-entered the fighting world. After experiencing his own hardships as a trans person in sports and fitness, Max wanted to create a space where Trans/GNC/LGBTQ+ members of the community can come train and workout comfortably. Max looks forward to training people in OutBox's new home in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Colline Laninga

Colline Laninga (she/they) offers personal training, nutrition, and health coaching at OutBox. They have 10+ years experience teaching and coaching competitive sports, and pursued a BS in Exercise Science at Brooklyn College.​

Colline designs classes and health coaching to meet individuals where they are at - whether it’s just wanting to feel good about moving their body or having specific training goals.

Certifications: ACE Personal Trainer & Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, M.S. in Clinical Nutrition

DJ Rock

DJ (she/her) is a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and Pilates who loves welcoming new people into fitness & wellness, finding movements that make people feel well in their bodies, and being unapologetically Black, Puerto Rican & Trans while she does it. DJ started her career as a strength training instructor in 2020, and eventually obtained her Mat Pilates certification through Black Girl Pilates and her Reformer/Jumpboard Pilates certification through Spring Movement/East River Pilates.

DJ is a NJ-native, and currently resides in Bedstuy. Her classes are filled with laughter, millennial R&B and hip hop playlists, and challenges for all participants. She is also available for 1-on-1 or small group personal training at OutBox Gym.

Caroline Lents

Caroline (she/her) discovered boxing in 2012.  She was working as an attorney at the time and had no idea that walking into a boxing gym would change her life so drastically.  After training under Reese Scott at Women's World of Boxing for seven years, she happily left the corporate world behind to pursue a career as a coach.  

A certified Medical Exercise Specialist, Caroline loves helping clients  living with chronic conditions or recovering from injury find strength in fitness, whether through boxing, barbells or anything in between!

Julie Ladisa

I’m an Amateur boxer with 50+ boxing fights. Some of my accomplishments are winning the NY Golden Gloves 2x and winning the National Golden Gloves 2x. I also won Gold in the Junior Olympics and have been a Personal Trainer/Boxing instructor for the past 7 years.

David (Day) is an artist and their body is their instrument. Whether it's dancing, singing, fighting, or choreographing, fitness has been instilled in them and their passions for over half their life. A Black Belt in Mixed Martial Arts, Day choreographs stage combat, music videos, and their Boxing Classes at Outbox. Day has been a Group Fitness Instructor since they were 16 years old and loves to learn and grow in their knowledge of fitness, community, and people. Learning how to control and move ones own body is the secret to unlocking your own fitness potential.

Colline Laninga

  • Greer (they/them) trained in dance from the age of 4 years old until receiving their BFA in Dancemaking in 2012. Greer has been weightlifting, powerlifting and strength training since 2019 and has been training in CrossFit since 2021. As a personal trainer, Greer specializes in barbell skills and holistic strength development for living a strong and functional life as well as understanding the unique strength and fitness goals of trans, queer, and non-binary people. 

  • Greer is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer and works primarily with LGBTQ+ individuals and folks who have historically been left out of the fitness space. They believe there are complex and healing experiences available in fitness when we are in connections and spaces that respect us.
